About us
Home Touch Child Care is a North Carolina 1 Star rated license "Center within a Home" daycare (license #60000374). Teachers have certificates in North Carolina Early Childhood Education I & II and receive ten continuing education credits yearly. All teachers have undergone criminal background checks, which now include follow-up verifications every five years. As well, all household occupants over the age of sixteen undergo criminal background checks every 5 years, in accordance with state law.
Our story
We started our daycare in 1991 to provide income that allowed us to stay at home and care for our own three children. Through the years we have been blessed with wonderful parents, daycare children and four grandsons. We have even watched babies of daycare children from years gone by. We call them our daycare grands! We have found this to be a rewarding career and a fun way to spend our days.

Our mission
Our mission at Home Touch Child Care is for children to encounter a balance of activities designed to help them develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually through play and the use of our FunShine Express Curriculum. We provide loving, nurturing care and are responsive to the needs of each growing child in a clean, safe, and smoke-free environment.
